  3. His skin is perpetually cool to the touch. When close colleagues occasionally comment on his "freezing handshake," he brushes off with humor.

  4. While Juho can survive brief periods in the sun, prolonged exposure leaves him drained and vulnerable. He’s meticulous about avoiding direct sunlight, using his busy hospital schedule as an excuse to stay indoors.

  5. Mirrors no longer betray him entirely but they distort his image slightly, creating a faint, ghostly blur.

  2. Juho has a bat as his familiar which can be found perching near his coffin or hanging under his apartment’s furnitures.

  3. Silver burns Juho, leaving painful scars that take much longer to heal than other injuries. His reaction to it is severe, making him avoid wearing silver jewelry or using utensils that might expose his weakness.

  4. He can eat human food to blend in but gains no nourishment from it. His primary sustenance comes from blood, though he feeds sparingly, relying on donated or stolen medical blood supplies.

  5. While he feeds ethically, moments of extreme stress or hunger make controlling his bloodlust harder. In rare instances, he has to leave the hospital abruptly to avoid exposing himself.

  Yeon Harin    —  @vampieirJuho’s centuries-long frenemy. Their first meeting dates back to the late Joseon Dynasty; Harin, draped in white, disappearing into the forest as Juho stumbled through the chaos of his newfound vampirism. Over time, their paths kept crossing, from war-torn train stations to candlelit ballrooms, until modern-day Seoul brought them face to face once more. Harin often picks on Juho for his choice to feed ethically yet beneath the banter lies a quiet, mutual care neither of them will admit aloud.

  Chae Yoona (Danai)    —  @innsolitaryA dazzling presence in high society, Danai first crossed paths with Juho at a fundraising gala; her lively charm and effortless grace clashing with his reserved composure. From the start, her sharp wit and strange energy piqued Juho’s curiosity, though he never pressed for answers. Instead, he let her chatter and occasional jabs unfold at their own pace. Over time, their connection settled into a curious, if unlikely, companionship — a quiet mutual understanding between two people who both have more to them than they let on.
